Founded in 2013 by Michelle Joy Phelps, Behind The Gloves has established itself as one of the most popular boxing YouTube channels globally over the course of the past 10 years regularly securing high-profile interviews with the biggest names in the sport and breaking exclusive news.

Key figures from within boxing such as Tyson Fury, Anthony Joshua and Eddie Hearn feature regularly on the channel and since launching, Behind The Gloves has interviewed legends of the sport including Floyd Mayweather jr, Manny Pacquiao, Oscar de la Hoya, Gennady Golovkin, Deontay Wilder, Canelo Alvarez, Roy Jones jr, Evander Holyfield, Claressa Shields, Oleksandr Usyk, Bob Arum, Roman Reigns, to name a few. 

Boasting over 315,000 YouTube subscribers, BTG achieves on average 2 million + monthly views with fight fans tuning in from all over the world such as the UK, USA, Australia, Mexico and Philippines. In total the channel has amassed over 140 million total video views and 980 million YouTube impressions, featured regularly in publications such as New York Post, Daily Mail, The Sun, Talk Sport, ESPN, TMZ, CNN, Fox Sports and even found themselves featured on the UK popular game show, The Chase.

Along with her work on Behind The Gloves, Michelle Joy Phelps actively works as a freelance broadcaster having previously hosted  Season 1 of the World Boxing Super SeriesUltimate Boxxer (Now known as Boxxer), Youtube star Austin McBroom's PPV promotion for Social Gloves 2, side-line reporter for the American Cornhole League (ACL) on ESPN and CBS, and appearing on networks such as Sky Sports, DAZN, Spike TV, ITV box office, & Fite TV PPV. 

Phelps is currently developing a Paranormal podcast which will feature Exclusively on her personal website and works as an entertainment host having worked red carpet events/ press junkets for Disney, Amazon's Golden Globe Awards after-party red carpet, Fox, E!, to name a few. 

You can regularly hear MJP on BBC radio giving her expertise on trending boxing related news and as a panelist for ESPN's Pound-for-Pound rankings for both men and women.
